Greater STL Amateur baseball Hall of fame board of directors announce 50th anniversary class of 2024
(SAINT LOUIS – December 1, 2023) – The Board of Directors of the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame has announced the 50th Anniversary Class of 2024. Fifteen new members will be inducted in a ceremony at the Sheraton Chalet Hotel at Westport on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Ten players (including four with professional experience) and four contributors are among the 2023 class of inductees. The Class of 2023 includes the following:
PLAYERS
BRAD BOLLINGER (60) – Outstanding 1B/Team Co-Captain for Mizzou and Metro Collegiate League All-Star.
MATT BOXDORFER (47) – Hard-throwing RHP at Saint Louis University, Sotolar Pointers and Metro Collegiate All-Star.
PETE DELKUS (58) – All-American RHP at SIUE, Mon-Clair Lg. star who reached AAA/Minnesota Twins farm system.
TOM FRANKE (65) – Outstanding RHP for Northwest MO State and former Baltimore Orioles farmhand.
LONNIE MACLIN (57) – Outstanding OF at Meramec CC, Metro Collegiate Lg. and reached MLB with STL Cardinals.
JOHN PARKE (58) – Exceptional RHP for Vanderbilt (Captain), Mineral Area CC, Jefferson College and Mon-Clair Lg.
DAVE PREGON (62) – Outstanding corner infielder at GA Southern, Metro Collegiate Lg., former MON/STL Farmhand.
