Q: How do you get considered for membership in the ABHOF?
A: If a candidate meets the qualifications for membership as set forth by the board of directors, they can complete and submit an application to the communications director by the deadline of November 1 each year.
Q: How do I get an application?
A: Applications can be downloaded from this site by going to the section: Qualifications for Membership.
Q: When I have filled out my application, how do I submit it for consideration?
A: Follow the directions for submitting the application which can be found on each application. Mail or e-mail the application to the communications director as explained on the application.
Q: Is there a deadline for submitting an application?
A: Applications are accepted any time. Each year, the Board considers current applications and makes
selections in mid-November. Applications submitted by November 1 are considered for selection and induction the
following year.
Q: If a candidate is qualified in more than one category, how does the Board determine whether to consider an
applicant as a player, coach, contributor, or umpire?
A: Each applicant is encouraged to indicate his/her preference if qualified in multiple categories. The Board will make
the final determination prior to selection.
Q: How will an applicant know if they have been selected for induction?
A: Every year, on Thanksgiving morning, any applicant who has been chosen by the Board of Directors for induction will be contacted by telephone and congratulated as a new member of the Hall of Fame.
Q: Can an applicant complete and submit an application, fail to be chosen, and then be reconsidered in a
subsequent year?
A: Yes, any applicant that is not selected is welcome to resubmit his/her application. Some applicants simply need to
provide more complete information to be selected.
Q: When and how can I buy tickets for the annual April banquet.
A: Tickets can be purchased for the banquet after January 1 by sending $75 per ticket, payable to the ABHOF to

A: We gratefully accept ads for our induction program from any interested party. It's a great way to recognize our inductees, Rising Stars or award winners. Contact Mike Stewart [email protected] for an ad form and pricing information.
Q: Do you have to be a member of the ABHOF to make a donation to help support the Busch Stadium display?
A: No, we gratefully accept donations from friends and families of members and from people who simply appreciate
the role of amateur baseball in the game we all love.
Q: Do you have to belong to the ABHOF to participate in the Annual Golf Outing?
A: No, anyone who enjoys a fun round of golf with lots of free beer, plentiful prizes, and competitive scramble golf is
welcome to join us at Forest Park GC.
Q: How do I buy ABHOF logo clothing I see people wearing?
A: Periodic order windows for official STL ABHOF merchandise will be published on this site. Check out the link on this site for the latest offerings.
