2019 Rising Star Award winner:
Noah Jacobsen - Potosi HS
Noah is a shortstop/pitcher who hit .465 with 12 doubles, 3 triples, 5 HR’s and 39 RBI's in 2018. He was first team All-District the last three years and 1st team All-Conference the last two years. He was the KTJJ Dream Team player of the year and was honorable mention all-state in 2018. He has committed to play at Southeast Missouri State University next year. Noah's coach is Steve McCoy.

Jimmy Obertop - Westminster Christian Academy
Jimmy is a slugging catcher who amassed a .434 batting average, with 11 homeruns and 80 RBI’s in the last two seasons. He displays sound mechanics and team leadership behind the plate. He currently carries a 3.77 GPA and has committed to play baseball at the University of Michigan next year. Jimmy's coach is Dan Petke.
Kolten Poorman - North County High School
Kolten has earned All-Conference and All-District honors the last three seasons and was named to the Perfect Game Pre-Season All-American team in 2018. He carries a 3.99 GPA and is a two-time 4A Academic All-Star. He ranks 7th in his class of 214. He is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a member of the National Honor Society. Kolten is coached by Chris McClain.
Jeremy Schork - Rockwood Summit HS
During the 2018 season, Jeremy hit an amazing 13 HR's, including four in one game tying a Missouri State High School record. He ended the year batting .398 with 47 RBI's and an 1.456 OPS. His performance on the mound was also impressive. He ended the season with a 5-2 record, a 3.02 ERA and 60 K's. He is committed to play in college at Purdue University. Jeremy's head coach is Jason Schneider.
Cole Schroeder - CBC HS
Cole is a starting pitcher at CBC and has registered 3 games with 12 K’s in his career. He has earned Under Armour pre-season All-American honors 2 times and has been named Perfect Game third team All-American 3 times. He currently carries a 4.4 GPA and is active in the National Honor Society and CBC honors program. He also received the Jim Doley Research Award at CBC and plans to continue his career playing baseball for Amateur Baseball Hall of Famer Keith Guttin at Missouri State University next spring. Cole is coached by Mason Horne.
Shane Wilhelm - Columbia (IL) HS
Shane hit .425 and had a .655 slugging average; with 31 RBI’s, 13 doubles and 5 triples in 2018. On the mound, he was 4-2, over 44 2/3 innings pitched with a 2.98 ERA and 63 K’s helping his team to a 30-4 record. He was 2nd team All-Metro and an All-Conference selection last season. He carries a 3.95 GPA and made the Honor Roll and a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to play for Steve Bieser and the Mizzou Tiigers next spring. Shane is coached by Neal O'Donnell.
